A fragmented dealer network #
Instead of a handful of importers, Poland has hundreds of small dealers and workshops. That structure rewards a supplier who can ship one or two units with a complete document set, and it punishes one who only quotes by the container.
Documents a Polish registration file needs #
- Certificate of conformity
- Issued per vehicle by the type-approval holder, in the language your registration office accepts.
- Commercial invoice
- Exporter and importer named, VIN listed, Incoterm stated.
- Customs declaration
- Import entry with the vehicle category code used by your authority.
- VIN confirmation
- The plate and the stamped VIN must match the certificate — we photograph both before shipment.
- EU responsible person details
- Name, postal address and email inside the EU, for market surveillance and for the registration file.
One unit, complete paperwork, is the product here The single most useful thing we can do for a Polish dealer is deliver one vehicle with every document already in the folder. That is a supply-chain capability, not a discount.
Where Polish files usually stall #
- A district office asking for a document the exporter has never been asked for before.
- Certificate translation into Polish.
- A vehicle whose declared mass or seat count differs from the certificate.
