The manufacturer of record for a given vehicle is the holder named on its certificate of conformity. Where a model page refers to a production partner, that partner is the manufacturer of that model.

A note on wording The responsible person is designated under the General Product Safety Regulation. For L-category vehicles this is separate from the type-approval regime under Reg. (EU) 168/2013 and from the certificate of conformity, which is issued by the manufacturer. The two obligations run alongside each other and are not interchangeable.

We sell to businesses, not consumers. We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in consumer arbitration proceedings. Contractual disputes are governed by the terms agreed with the buyer in the order confirmation.
